Did you know that True Respite Brewing Co. started as a home brewing project? Years and many beers later, True Respite Brewing Co. was born. In their own words, True Respite is the “culmination of an aver growing love for the craft beer movement.” Their primary mission is to “create moments of true respite, where great beer and a relaxed environment turn strangers into friends.”

DC Beer and 7 Locks Brewing’s 4th Annual Oktober Fest

WHAT: DC Beer and 7 Locks Brewing will be hosting their annual celebration! Complete with live music from The Walkways, traditional German food provided by Biergarten Haus, and craft vendors. FREE Admission and $25 for ceramic stein + fill.

True Respite Brewery:  Artist Fair

On Saturday, August 17th, True Respite is hosting an Artist Fair! Local Artists will be displaying and selling their incredible, handmade work. This is a great time to find the perfect items and gifts for yourself, friends, and family as we move into the fall while supporting our local community of Artists! We will have 18 local Artists with beautiful, hand crafted items. Gilly’s Craft Beer & Fine Wine will be joining us with some of their delicious sandwiches available for purchase. Come join us for a day filled with art, food, and fun!

True Respite is donating 20% of our sales during the event to Ivymount School in Rockville. Ivymount is a school for students with special needs. Their mission is to enable students to achieve their highest level of development and to support families in their efforts to make intelligent, thoughtful choices with their children. They are in need of a new mobility van for their students. True Respite is partnering with other members of the community to help make this happen. http://ivymount.org/

It’s time! The biggest party of the year is coming back to Rockville on Saturday, August 24th, 12-6pm! We are going to celebrate all things climbing and all climbers with a legendary party that you don’t want to miss!
